Make payments part of the product conversation.

Payments can be a product decision, an operating decision, and a commercial opportunity. Rebar helps SaaS companies, ISVs, and platforms evaluate the model before committing to a provider or promising economics.

WHAT WE HELP YOU EVALUATE

A review built around the decision.

01

Start with your customer workflow

Map who sells, who pays, who gets paid, merchant onboarding, refunds, disputes, and the platform’s role. Compare an integrated provider model with simpler referral or commercial-partnership structures where appropriate.

02

Validate the technical and operating model

Review gateway and API needs, billing, eligible payout flows, reconciliation, support responsibilities, and data boundaries. A provider offering APIs does not automatically establish support for every platform model.

03

Make the economics explicit

Examine eligible payment volume, proposed fees, provider costs, support burden, and any negotiated revenue participation. Economics, platform onboarding, funds flow, and integration must all be validated before launch.

BEFORE WE START

What to know.

Are you offering a pre-approved payfac product?

No. This is advisory and provider-fit evaluation. Payment-facilitator models, sub-merchant onboarding, split payments, ledgers, or other platform-specific capabilities require explicit provider confirmation.

Is payment revenue guaranteed?

No. Any revenue participation depends on an agreed arrangement, eligible processing, actual activity, provider costs, and operating obligations. We can help evaluate scenarios, not promise recurring income.

THE NEXT STEP DOES NOT NEED A BUDGET
